Staging gives your home a positive appeal !
The work put forth to make a good first impression is well worth it. Most buyers will decide within seconds of seeing the outside of a house if they like it or not. If they do step inside within 5 seconds of entering they will have a positive or negative reaction. That first impression is extremely hard to reverse. Not only are they comparing it to others they viewed, but they are comparing it to what it would look like with their "stuff" in it. If it looks crowded, cluttered or dirty chances are they will not be interested in the property. Most people prefer new instead of used in anything they purchase. The newer, more spacious you can make your previously owned home, the more appeal it has.
I am an accredited stager. Because staging is so extremely important in selling in todays market, I include a staging consultation as a service when I list my sellers home. The good points should be emphasized and the drawbacks minimized. Many changes are not costly and just involve manual labor, but it can make an extreme difference. Other changes may involve some expense and may want to be considered. Cleanliness and decluttering make the biggest difference and would be the top two things to do when thinking about putting your home on the market.
The economy today has everyone trying to save money wherever possible. I would like to help you with the staging part of selling your home, using what you already own, without having to purchase or rent additional items on a monthly basis.
